My Story
Dotty....that pretty little warmer is what started it all for me. A friend of mine had a basket party in the spring of 2011 and Dotty was the warmer of the month. I decided to throw my own party so I could earn it for free with my hostess benefits. By having a party...I earned that warmer, a mini warmer, and 13 bars for such a low price it only escalated my Scentsy obsession! I decided to join before my party orders even arrived, for a couple of reasons: 1) I didn't want to wait for someone else to bring me my orders and 2) I knew I'd be buying often so it made sense to get paid on my purchases! Initially, my only goal was just to be my own best customer while benefiting from the consultant perks. I eventually saw all the opportunities available, right in front of me, and my goals have changed and shifted and gotten BIGGER throughout the years. I earned my first incentive trip in 2018...a Mediterranean cruise. I always thought these trips weren't attainable. It wasn't meant for someone like me to earn them. I was lying to myself! They are so so attainable. If I can do it, anyone who is willing to learn can do it! That year we also had the option of choosing Disneyland/Anaheim, California instead of the cruise. Our annual convention (we call it a Family Reunion) was held here that year and it was a trip I could bring my kiddos on, so this was the option I chose. We are Disney obsessed! It was here that Scentsy announced our partnership with Disney! I will never forget this magical moment, and the fact that I got to share it with my kids made it so much better. There have been many magical moments along the way. This is why I love Scentsy. This is why it's the perfect job. It can be as life changing as you make it!
